Search for the Standard Model Higgs boson produced in Vector Boson Fusion and decaying into a tau pair in CMS with 1 inverse femtobarn

The Standard Model Higgs boson produced in vector boson fusion and decaying to a pair of τ\tau leptons is an important channel in the search of the Higgs boson in the mass range between \simeq 115 and 145 GeV/c2c^2. A selection strategy for the ττνν\tau \tau \rightarrow \ell \nu \nu+τhadν\tau_{\rm had} \nu final state is presented as well as an expected upper limit on the signal cross section with 1 fb1^{-1}.
