Search for a doubly-charged Higgs boson with \sqrt{s}=8~\mathrm{TeV} collisions at the CMS experiment
A search for doubly-charged Higgs boson in proton-proton collisions at TeV is presented. The data corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 19.7~\textrm{fb}^{-1}, collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC. The search considers leptonic final states with three or four electrons or muons which probe the associated production of and Drell-Yan pair production of . No excess over Standard Model background expectations is observed and upper limits at the confidence level are placed on the cross sections times branching ratio. Lower bounds on the doubly-charged Higgs boson mass are reported for a variety of assumptions on its branching ratio to charged lepton pairs.
