Search for the Standard Model Higgs boson in the decay channel HZZ()4H\rightarrow ZZ^{(*)}\rightarrow 4\ell with 1 fb1^{-1} of pp collisions at s=7\sqrt{s} = 7 TeV

The search for the Standard Model Higgs boson in the decay channel HZZ()4H\rightarrow ZZ^{(*)}\rightarrow 4\ell, where =e,μ\ell=e,\mu, is presented. Proton-proton collision data at \sqrt{s}=7\:\text{TeV} recorded with the ATLAS detector and corresponding to an average integrated luminosity of 1.1\:\text{fb}^{-1} are compared to the Standard Model expectations. Upper limits on the production cross section of a Standard Model Higgs boson with a mass between 110 and 600\:\text{GeV} are derived. The observed (expected) 95\% confidence level upper limit on the production cross section for a Higgs boson with a mass of 200\:\text{GeV}, near the most sensitive point of this search, is 2.0 (1.7) times the Standard Model prediction.
