Search for Higgs bosons decaying into di-muon in collisions at = 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector
A search for Higgs bosons decaying into di-muon has been performed using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 13.2 collected with the ATLAS detector in collisions at 13 TeV at the Large Hadron Collider. Upper limits are set on the Higgs boson production cross section times the branching ratio as a function of the Higgs boson mass. No excess over non-Higgs Standard Model (SM) background is observed. The observed (expected) upper limit is 4.4 (5.5) times the SM prediction at the 95% CL for the Higgs mass GeV. When the data from the LHC Run 1 and Run 2 are combined, the observed (expected) upper limit is 3.5 (4.3) for GeV.
