Search for Higgs bosons decaying into di-muon in pppp collisions at s\sqrt{s} = 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector

A search for Higgs bosons decaying into di-muon has been performed using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 13.2 fb1\text{fb}^{-1} collected with the ATLAS detector in pppp collisions at s=\sqrt{s}=13 TeV at the Large Hadron Collider. Upper limits are set on the Higgs boson production cross section times the branching ratio as a function of the Higgs boson mass. No excess over non-Higgs Standard Model (SM) background is observed. The observed (expected) upper limit is 4.4 (5.5) times the SM prediction at the 95% CL for the Higgs mass mH=125.09m_{H}=125.09 GeV. When the data from the LHC Run 1 and Run 2 are combined, the observed (expected) upper limit is 3.5 (4.3) for mH=125.09m_{H}=125.09 GeV.
